Becoming an Au Pair in Ireland is one of the most rewarding experiences a young Spanish professional can have. Ireland is a welcoming, English-speaking country with a rich culture, stunning landscapes and a huge Spanish community already settled here. If you are a teacher, nurse, childcare worker or student studying to work with children, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Why Ireland?
Ireland is one of the most popular destinations for Spanish au pairs in Europe. The Irish are warm, family-oriented and very welcoming to Spanish candidates. Spain is just two hours away by plane, so homesickness is rarely an issue. There is a large and active Spanish community across Dublin, Cork and Galway, with regular social outings and meetups organised for au pairs throughout the year.
Quality Families, Excellent Conditions
We only work with quality Irish families who offer excellent living conditions and the highest pocket money rates in Ireland. Every family is personally vetted by our team before any placement is made. We carry out house visits and ensure that all living conditions meet our strict standards. You will be treated as a member of the family — included in meals, outings and family life.
Learn English While You Work
All our placements are within 30 minutes of English language classes. We also offer special discounted one-to-one online English classes exclusively for our au pairs, so you can improve your English at your own pace from the comfort of your host family’s home.
Whether you prefer morning classes, evening sessions or weekend learning, we have a flexible option to suit you.
Our Vetting Process
All au pairs are screened, interviewed and registered with our partner agencies in Spain before arriving in Ireland. Every candidate must provide verified medical certificates and a clean criminal record. We work hard to ensure the best possible match between au pair and family — because a happy au pair means happy children and a happy home.
